Slade Riverfield

I am a full spectrum queer doula. I am also the founder of The Queer Parenting Partnership.

I have worked within the childcare industry for 20 years. I am one of 9 children and I have 20 nieces and nephews. I was called to doula life after helping my youngest sibling through postnatal depression.

I trained initially with Younique Postnatal and then with Abuela Doula for a more culturally competent approach. I have subsequently trained with Cornerstone Doula Trainings, Doula Trainings International and Birthing Advocacy Doula Trainings. I have attended workshops with Trystan Reese and Kayden Coleman on how to work with transgender and non-binary parents.

I am a pregnancy and infant loss advocate and provide this service free of charge.
