Hello! I’m Georgie, I’m the Doula in your corner. I have two young children, I home educate and love being with families.
When I was pregnant, I realised the choices I was being offered were not all the options truly available, and I began supporting families to find the information they wanted to make their own choices.

As an Abuela doula, l love collaborating with a pregnant person as they discuss their dreams, unravel the information around and feel their own path for their birth. This extends beyond the birth into the first few weeks or months of becoming a parent, as the family work out sleeping, feeding, nutrition for the body and the mind, whilst they connect with their little human. This might be in person, or virtually.

I’m always learning, on courses or from the wonderful humans around me. I’m a Breastfeeding Supporter with ABM and trained with Holistic Sleep Coaching to provide better access for families to hear about potentially non-mainstream ideas.

I love working with families are who feel like they want to be heard, that if their birth ticks every box on the plan or if the plan was crumpled into a ball, they are honoured and celebrated. You might want your doula sitting in the corner quietly whilst you’re in your zone, or standing beside you as an ally. That they are connected, supported, and lifted whilst they move from pregnant to parent.
