Anna Horn
Description
Hi there! My name is Anna Horn, a doula and anthropologist. Both my doula practice and research interests centre on cultivating a space for Black women and birthing people to experience life-affirming care during pregnancy, labour, birth and the postnatal period. My doula work is informed by Black feminism, reproductive justice and ecowomanism. I am an experienced postnatal doula with a special interest in breastfeeding support, cloth diapering and traditional Afrodiasporic perinatal practices.
I like for my clients to feel safe, supported and comfortable. A typical postnatal session may included a cooked meal, breastfeeding support, a consultation about cloth nappies and birth debriefing.
Hope to connect with you soon!
