Amisha Abeyawardene

I am a birthworker who provides support and advocacy for those navigating birth, parenthood and reproductive healthcare. I am passionate about providing affirming and trauma-informed support to those most marginalised by the medical system, especially Black and brown, queer and trans people.

Much of my work is informed by drawing upon South Asian practices and rituals to reconnect us with our traditional modes of healing.

Services: I am currently offering in-person support throughout the perinatal period, including prenatal education, birth support and postnatal healing.
