I'm Naomi ~ The FreeFormDoula.

I am a Birth and Postnatal doula, and happy to support Wombmen and your families based in Nottingham and the surrounding areas.

I believe All women should be empowered and supported thoroughly with what happens to their bodies and how they choose to birth their babies. The birthing mother should always be leading the conversation and be heard.

FreeFormDoula is based on amplifying the Birthing Mothers voice. I will support You the way you need me to and encourage you to trust in the natural abilities of your body.

I will help you navigate through information and choices you are faced with along your birth journey leading up to meeting your baby and will allow you time and space to think and make decisions. I will spend time with you to prepare you emotionally, mentally, physically and also spiritually if you would like.

I will be there to support your partner/ significant other/ family support and ensure that they have the space to discuss feelings, any worries they may have and would ensure to never take over their role. If you do not have a partner or an external support system I can take on this role for You.

During labour my focus will be to make sure you feel safe, calm, comfortable and in control using coping techniques you would have practiced in our previous meetings.
