Hi, I’m Yvonne, a certified birth and postnatal doula based in Woodford Green, East London. I’m a married mother of three and a former NHS healthcare practitioner with over 10 years of experience, giving me a strong understanding of the healthcare system and the increasingly medicalised nature of childbirth.
Through my own birth experiences and supporting friends and family through pregnancy, birth, and postpartum, I discovered my true calling: empowering women and their partners to feel confident, supported, and informed throughout their parenting journey. This is not just my work, it’s my passion.
My Approach as a Birth Doula
As your birth doula, I will:
Create a calm, safe, and positive birth environment
Support your trust in your body and instincts
Provide evidence-based information so you can make informed decisions
Hold space for you and your partner, emotionally and practically
Every birth is unique, and my role is to help you embrace the journey, whatever path it takes, while feeling fully supported every step of the way.
My Approach as a Postnatal Doula
The early days with a newborn can feel overwhelming. As your postnatal doula, I will:
Offer practical guidance and emotional support
Help you build confidence in your parenting skills
Provide a listening ear and reassurance as you adjust to life with your baby
My goal is to empower you as a parent and remind you that you already have the tools to nurture and care for your child.
I believe in the power of informed choice, emotional support, and personalised care. My mission is to help you feel empowered, calm, and supported, through pregnancy, birth, and beyond.

Yvonne is amazing, if you are wondering if you should book her- DO IT. My husband who was initially skeptical about getting a doula, was sold after our first session with her & now tells everyone that they should get a doula, specifically Yvonne.
Yvonne was great from the beginning, consistent, flexible, knowledgeable & highly supportive. She made sure my husband & I felt confident and comfortable as we prepared for the birth of our beautiful baby. For context -I was a petrified preggo and my husband is in the fertility field – so quite a combo, but somehow she managed to give just the right amount & type of info and support to help us both feel aligned and ready for what was coming next! She was one of the only professionals that carried my husband along and didn’t only focus on me, which we massively appreciated. In the final weeks and even after our baby was born she has been RIGHT there. Yvonne, We really couldn’t have done it without God bringing you our way so thank you so much.
